Francis Marion Lyman served as an apostle in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the end of the 19th century and early in the 20th century. He was a powerful advocate of family love, the word of wisdom, and staying true to the Church leadership. This new biography by his descendant, Stephen Sorenson, is the first published since 1958. It dramatically increases our understanding of the man and his times. From Salt Lake City to San Bernardino to Moscow, Francis Marion Lyman served the church with all his heart.

The link above points to a scan of the 882 page PDF file that is freely available for download. The cover letter from Scott's submission to Granite Publishing is included as a preface containing important explanations. It is not dated, but makes it clear that the manuscript was composed between 2003 and 2013. The original document is in the hands of David D. Busath.
